Balloon Release Donation

There will be a Balloon Release before the Marathon at 8:00 am. Donate a balloon for the ceremony to honor your friend(s) or loved one(s) who are survivors of the disease or who have lost their battle with the disease.

Who Will You Run For Marathon

WAIVER: I am physically fit and medically able and/or have received medical clearance to participate. In consideration for my application to participate in The Who Will You Run or Walk/Run being accepted, I, on behalf of myself, my heirs assignees, and my estate, hereby waive and forever discharge the sponsors, organizers, affiliates, as well as their agents and employees from any and all claims that may occur as the result of my participation. I also grant full permission for the organization to use photographs of me in legitimate accounts of this event. By submitting the form below, I agree to the terms listed in this waiver.

Mission Statement:The Glenda B. Collins, memorial scholarship is in remembrance of one of our own and eldest members who passed away from sickle cell. This award will be given to local qualified sickle cell student applicants who are striving to achieve their educational goals through higher education.

All applicants must meet the following criteria:

1. The applicant must be currently a high school senior, or enrolled in a higher education or technical program, before monies are dispensed.

2. The applicant must have completed a high school education with a 2.5 GPA. A transcript must be attached to application.

3. A letter of certification from your physician verifying that you are an individual with sickle cell disease.

4. Participant must be a resident and accepted into a Louisville or Southern Indiana College/University.
